Cold headed parts are created by “cold forming” which is a manufacturing process by which wire is fed into a cold heading machine, cut to a pre-determined length, inserted into a die and _??????????___to form a part. This process creates little to no waste. The cold heading process creates a stronger part due to the enhanced grain flow of the material.
